Likely causes
When we get a call about a washer shaking violently during spin, these are the things our technicians check first — roughly in the order of how often each one turns out to be the answer:
- Worn suspension rods on a top-loader or failed shock absorbers on a front-loader
- Shipping bolts never removed from a newly installed front-load washer
- Machine not level, or sitting on a floor that flexes
- Unbalanced load — a single heavy item like a comforter or a rug
- Worn drum bearings allowing the basket to move off its axis
How we fix it
We diagnose before we quote. That means testing the actual components involved — motors, switches, sensors, valves, and controls — instead of replacing parts in sequence and billing you for the guesses. Once we know what failed, you get the price before we touch anything.
Most washer repairs of this kind are completed in a single visit, because the parts that cause them are the parts we stock on the van. If yours needs something ordered, we tell you the real timeline up front.
