What a correct installation includes
Washers get new fill hoses rather than the ten-year-old ones off the last machine, level feet set so the tub does not walk, and a drain standpipe checked for height and fit. Dryers get rigid or semi-rigid transition duct instead of foil, a vent run confirmed clear, and — on gas — a leak check at every connection.
Dishwashers get a proper high loop or air gap, the disposal knockout plug removed when one is present, and a leak test under load. Refrigerators get a correct water supply line with a real shutoff, door swing and leveling set, and a verified ice maker cycle before we go.
Ranges, over-the-range microwaves, and built-ins
Slide-in and freestanding ranges need anti-tip brackets installed — required by the manufacturer and skipped constantly. Gas ranges need leak-checked connections and a flame quality check on every burner.
Over-the-range microwaves are a two-person job done right: mounting plate anchored into studs, the vent configured for the actual duct path (recirculating, vertical, or horizontal), and the cabinet above left undamaged. Built-in and panel-ready units need the opening measured before the appliance arrives, not after.
Haul-away and old-unit removal
We take the old appliance out of the way, so you are not living with a dead washer in the garage for three months. Tell us when you book and we will plan for it.
If the store delivered your new appliance but would not install it, or installed it and left something obviously wrong, that is a normal call for us and a quick visit.
